Faithful Presence

"Renew a steadfast spirit within me..." Psalm 51:10

The Church is called to be a witness in the world of the arriving Kingdom of God. Our very presence in the world testifies that God is not done here. His Spirit is at work to rescue, to redeem, and to restore. A church's faithful presence in its community - in the places of pain, and in the places of strength - is the embodiment of God's faithful presence in the world. Because we are here, God is here; because God is here, we are here.

This Fall, join us as church leaders from around the country gather together to remember the faithfulness of God, to discover fresh ways of being faithfully present in our cities, and to allow the Holy Spirit to renew our spirits so that we will remain steadfast.

Lift up your heads. God is with us. He is sending us into the world for the life of the world.
